Role purpose:

This person will demonstrate a warm and welcoming presence as the first point of contact for all enquiries and visitors. They may answer phones, greet customers, make appointments, file paperwork, perform data entry, scan documents, receive and sort mail, and any other tasks that contribute to the function of the accounting department. Our clients demand the highest standards of customer service and on time delivery. It is your responsibility to achieve and exceed their expectations so we can continue to grow our business.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with other department heads.
  • To understand and follow correct procedures for creation of new products and supporting the Planning officer with loading of orders.
  • High level of care required with a good eye for detail and quality.
  • Willing to perform other duties within capability, training given.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, or manuals, training given to the right candidate.
  • Quick learner and keen to help improve process.
  • Able to prioritise work dependent upon work to list.
  • Must be able to comply with safety standards and practices.
  • Must be numerate and able to perform material stock checks when required.
  • Follow and understand the quality, environmental inductions.
  • Admin experience is desirable
  • 3 GCSE’s or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Systems
