Hours vary weekly between Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Final Assembly Supervisor, your specific responsibility is to help build our world class data solution components for a variety of clients across Britain. Our clients demand the highest standards of customer service and on time delivery. It is your responsibility to achieve and exceed their expectations so we can continue to grow our business.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

  • High level of care required with a good eye for detail and quality.
  • Willing to perform other duties within capability, training given.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, or manuals, training given to the right candidate.
  • Quick learner and keen to help improve process.
  • Able to prioritise work dependent upon work to list.
  • Able to work to the expected reasonable output rate.
  • Must be able to comply with safety standards and practices.
  • Able to use electrical screwdrivers and standard spanners and wrenches.
  • Pop Riveting, Portable drill operations.
  • Ability to operate or learn the wrapping machine.
  • Units can be over 6ft tall so candidates able to comfortably reach and work with aids (small steps) over this height are preferred for Health and Safety reasons.
  • Must be numerate and able to perform material stock checks when required.
  • Follow and understand the quality, environmental inductions.
  • Mechanical experience is desirable
  • 3 GCSE’s or equivalent is required
