Contracted Hours: 25 hours per week.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, between 8am – 5pm, over Monday – Saturday.

Hourly Rate: National Minimum Wage based on age.

About us:

Charged EV as a business specialise in the supply and installation of Electric Vehicle charging equipment across the UK, having installed over 10,000 domestic and workplace EV chargers to date. We started as a small family business but grew and became the leading independent EV installer. We’re currently hiring a Customer Care Advisor to join our Homecharge Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers enquiring about and arranging the installation of a charge point for their electric vehicle.

What you will be doing:

  • Answering and resolving customer enquiries over the phone, email and live chat.
  • Processing new enquiries.
  • Making outbound calls to warm leads – we never cold call and all of our customers have enquired with us directly.
  • Working towards targets and clear objectives set by the businesses such as call targets, booking numbers and completed installations.
  • Advising our customers about our products.
  • Resolving customer queries the first time they are raised, collaborating closely with other departments to ensure resolution.
  • Proactively reviewing customer accounts when they call, to identify and resolve and future problems before they arise.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 

  • You’re happy to spend most of your day talking to customers on the phone.
  • You have great personal time keeping.
  • Able to build good rapport with customers and colleagues and are willing to go above and beyond to keep our customers happy.
  • It’s important that you’ve had experience within a customer service environment; even better if you already have an understanding of working towards targets and love beating them.
  • Working within our sector is fast-paced; there is a lot to learn, so it’s a huge plus if you’re a quick learner and able to retain a wealth of information.
